A Few Checks Make Every Seal Easier

Before vacuum sealing, make sure your sealer, storage bags or containers, and food are ready for use. Following these simple checks helps the sealer work properly and creates a secure, consistent vacuum seal each time.

Charge the Sealer

Use the included USB-C cable and allow the device to charge before first use.

Inspect the Storage Format

Check that the bag, zipper, valve, container rim, and lid are clean and free from damage.

Prepare the Food

Cool hot food first, remove sharp edges where possible, and keep loose liquid away from the valve.

Choose a Flat Surface

Lay bags flat and keep containers steady so the sealer can sit evenly over the valve.

Keep Excess Liquid Away From the Motor

The visible liquid tank collects excess liquid from wet or marinated foods during vacuum sealing. Keep the bag valve above the food and watch the tank as you seal. Empty the tank before the liquid reaches the MAX line to help protect the motor and keep your sealer working properly.

Common Troubleshooting

What You Notice
Likely Cause
What to Do
The sealer does not start
The battery may be low or the power button was not activated.
Recharge with the USB-C cable, then press the power button once.
Air is not leaving the bag
The zipper may be open, the nozzle misaligned, or the valve blocked.
Reseal the zipper, flatten the valve area, and center the nozzle directly over the valve.
The bag loses its vacuum
A zipper gap, food residue, puncture, or damaged valve may be allowing air in.
Clean and reseal the zipper. Inspect the bag and valve; replace the bag if it is damaged.
The container will not open
Vacuum pressure is still holding the lid closed.
Use the lid valve to fully release the vacuum before opening the locking tabs.
The sealer sounds different
The nozzle may not have an airtight connection with the valve.
Lift the sealer, check the valve surface, and place it back down evenly before restarting.
